Well here’s an update. Week 3 and still at 1015. Also there is an apple-off taste with the ferment unfortunately.
Also I have to address Craigtube again as I bought this kit as a direct result as him.

Coopers Draught Beer Taste Test!
This is my second batch of Homebrew beer and went much better than the first. I’m not sure if the defective Coopers Home Brew kit lid had anything to do with it.
Anyhow, the beer has mild hops and is thin in the grain flavor. It really does need some grains boiled with it.
Maybe it just needs dry malt extract instead? Not sure. Only time can tell.
I will give the beer an added point for being un-intrusive. That means that the beer isn’t too strong. I mean, it got me buzzed for sure, but it doesn’t taste like flavored beer. It sides on caution and has more of a watered down or light flavor.
I did not taste any apple in this either. It had no apple smell or flavor unlike my last batch.
Don’t let the colors of the beer in these videos fool you. The flavor does not match the color.
Over all it’s a light beer with a thin body.

I pretty much got this kit because of CraigTube’s video promoted Coopers products.
So here I am addressing my concerns with the Coopers Beer Kit. This Coopers home brew beer kit was bought from the makebeer.net so it’s a new, legit kit. I received basically damaged bottles and coopers products came ‘not working’ as advertised.
There are 3 other people online who are also having problems with the kit as reported by users at http://www.homebrewtalk.com Their problems are the leaking lids and lack of fermentation (which is the whole reason you are buying the product. That’s like buying a car with square wheels – it defeats the purpose of buying a car.
Also my bottles came squished and damaged. About 5 to 6 of them so I was forced to get new bottles.
This is a hobby. When you sell a hoby based product, you have to expect people are going to post reviews.
I refuse to be sent broken, shotty products that do NOT do what they claim on the package and just sit down and shut up.
Here is the Cooper’s beer kit which I do NOT recommend.

Well, bottling at 1010 right now.
What a disaster. I do NOT recommend this beer brewing kit.
BUYER BEWARE on the Cooper’s Beer Brew Kit. I have had way, way too many problems with Coopers products to ever recommend them.
I recommend 1L glass EZ lid bottles.
Traditional fermenting bucket.
Why waste time and life on a defective kit with questionable materials, broken parts, and stress. Just get what the home brewing world has been using for decades. Not this little Australian companies version of defectave garbage.
